Green Thumb vs. Black Thumb: Week 2~Green Thumb

Before we went off to our garden plot Farmer Jake and Farmer Nick had to get ready. Since you have seen Farmer Jake a few times I thought I would share Farmer Nick today.

We have sprouts!!! Everything in the garden plot has sprouts. The summer squash is in the middle and doing the best. Farther back are three watermelon plants nudging out. The green onion is also growing but is so thin that it is hard to see in this photo.

The pots at our place haven’t fared as well. Yesterday, Matt planted some more seeds. Hopefully in another week or two we will have tomatoes, jalapeno, and bell peppers growing too. We are still holding out on the Rosemary. It takes 15-20 days to break the ground and it has only been 14 days.

Even though the pots haven’t produced yet, this round goes to GREEN THUMB!

Great job Mrs. Green Thumb. I expect a meal made from all of your crops when I come to visit!
