I can’t believe I am about to publish this to the world. I ended up checking out Twilight from the library. Well, more than that I finished the entire 4 book saga in less than a week. I became slightly obsessed with it. I was reading all the time. I would have finished sooner, but the library by my house is closed on Sunday’s and Monday’s so I had to wait two whole days before I could get a book. It was rough.
The adult inside me knows that these books are kinda silly. They have vampires and werewolves and teenage drama in them.
I can become totally immersed in a story. During that week I was even having dreams about the characters. I enjoyed the love story, and the absolute ridiculousness of it all. What an escape.
Now, I am reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. (looks down at feet) I had never read it before and yes they kept referencing it in book 3 so, well. I was curious.
I had already seen the first three movies and now I feel like I am waiting for the last one. *SPOILER ALERT*
I wonder how they are going to fit in all that detail. How are they going to get such a pretty little girl? How are they going to show Bella’s powers? Why can’t I stop thinking about these things?
My 13-year-old sister thinks it is hilarious that I am now totally hooked. She has been trying to get me to read these books for 3 years. I have steadily refused. I’m an adult. I read my fair share of Ann Rice in high school. I am over vampires. Well, I guess not. I have already told her this is what I want for Christmas…

Ummm how are they going to depict a young adult in love with a baby without making that seem completely gross and disgusting- which it is. Oh and rough vampire sex. This last movie (well I guess two, I think they are splitting it like HP) might need to be NC-17. Lol!

I hadn’t even thought about that…hahahaha… My sister has spoiled the fact that they had a kid so as soon as they introduced Quil’s imprinting on that 2 year old I knew Jacob would inprint on the kid. Yeah, they really should have fit that in somewhere in the last movie to help with this last one. I WANT ROUGH VAMPIRE SEX!!! I bet they will completely gloss over the honeymoon sex and not show Bella all bruised up.
I thought I was laughing at the post but then reading yours and Dacia’s comments had me seriously laughing!! I’ll admit I’ve seen all the movies as well. A friend of mine and I try to go when we’ll be least noticed by anyone we know!!! Her husband calls it shirtless smut 🙂 But now that we’ve committed to the first 3 we kinda have to see this thing through!!! I haven’t read the books so I got quite a kick out of your spoilers 😉
Hehe, I went back and re-read the comments we made. I can see how absolutely ridiculous they sound if you haven’t read the books. I can’t wait till the movie comes out…haha.
